I received this S$13 fan from Edwin (www.sgmodder.com) last Sat and was so impressed with it on the first run that I went around borrowing/buying commonly used fans to do a better benchmark. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the Deep Cool Wind Blade 120mm 1300rpm fan.

Thoughts
Pros
- Sexy fan! Black transparent blade and frames to match
- 4mm sleeves and shrink are well done
- Full black/grey wires. No more red/black/yellow!
- Mounting position for 100mm x 25mm as well, though not sure if any HS uses it
- Strong and Bright LED (compared to Sickleflow)

Neutral
- 11” cable length

Cons
- 3pin to molex is permanent attached, so probably have to snipe it off if you are a perfectionist.
- No accessories. Came with just the fan and 4x fan screws.

Testing Methodology
- No other fans in the casing will be running.
- Load temps are taken 20mins into OCCT linpack using Real Temp 3.40.
- Idle temps are taken 20mins after OCCT linpack is done using Real Temp 3.40.
- I’m not interested in getting an US$4000 sound meter so that I can measure sound pressure accurately. I’ll do doing what bro repel89 did, using my handphone (Nokia 5800) to measure the noise level. So do not read the numbers as it is, read it relativity instead.

Testing condition is in an aircon room at 2am in the morning, which is dead quiet.
